@kslight I'm very much am the wanting to make love to your new synthesizer.

It's pretty sweet. I'm kind of picky and have high expectations when spending that kind of money on a synth, but there is a synth I feel like one could never reach the limits of its possibilities.

Yeah, not cheap but pretty amazing.

Drawmer DL231 compressor.

Loved the way the log detector sounds on percussion, decided to get a second one.

Took a little while but I finally found another.

When I entered it in my inventory system, I found that the serial numbers on both DL231s were consecutive. Each were purchased at the same store six years apart.

Too weird...

I've bren guitar pedal obsessed lately. The past two weeks I've probably bought and sold or traded 20 pedals. Here's what I've kept: Janglebox compressor, ProCo Whiteface Rat (which I'm not as in love with as I hoped, considering how much I like my wife's Turbo Rat), Death By Audio Interstellar Overdriver Deluxe, Wattson FY-6 (the best pedal I've ever owned), and Maxon AD9. Those, along with my Korg PitchBlack and Retro Sonic Chorus, make up my pedal board...hopefully I'm happy with it for awhile!

i like the novation mk2. stable and intuitive controller and nice keyboard.
the only thing that really sucks on those are the "drum pads"... boy

I haven't read that, I just was looking for a stock photo online and that's what came up.

After a couple weeks with this, I'd be willing to call it my only synth if I had to. I've owned dozens of vintage and modern synths over the years?and I think that is a fair bit of complement. I haven't owned anything that matches this in all the important ways (sound, versatility, interface, depth, fun). I find myself able to dial up a surprising range, and if that sort of thing matters to anyone?it is very capable of producing analog tone when you want it to. 4 voice paraphonic is surprisingly more useful that I thought it would be, I especially like having 4 different oscillators so each key press has a different timbre?

I have 2 negatives thus far?

1. Very short power cord out of the box (and it was sourced from Monoprice of all prices?how much could it cost to provide me with a cord that's more than 3 feet long??? And how is that length even usable for anyone once the keyboard is on a stand???)

2. No gig bag/hard case available for purchase yet

Melodigrand Cameo 66 key piano.
Small and light enough to be moved by one guy (and a dolly) and fits in my station wagon. I'm either making it into a tac piano or adding a pick-up and using it on gigs.
First I need to vacuum out the mouse poo and get it in tune.

MXL 860; I'm surprised how much I like this on distorted amp, 1-2' out. I wouldn't pay the list US$200, but I got a blowout onnit for less than half offa the 'bog ...
