I went sort of nuts recently and bought a Dangerous Compressor and a BLUE-restored Telefunken U48. I also bought a Limpander from Mitch Easter. I'm loving all three!

Came to my senses and bought out the RE20 I've been renting for the last 8 months.

Smart. That's a handy mic. I'm always lusting after my next mic as something two or three times more expensive than one of those, when I'd probably use the RE20 twice as much.
I mean it's really only good for drums, bass amps, guitar amps, horns and vocals. That's about it.

It's one of the only mics I like on my reedy, sibilent voice. I rented it to track some demos and never returned it. Strangely, I've only really been using it on vocal so far, my own and others. Gotta give it a run on kick tomorrow.
My next rent to own should probably be an 87. I use them
on everything every time I'm at someone else's studio but don't have one of my own.

I recently purchased a Coles 4038. I didn’t expect them to be similar but me and my buddy did a little comparison with the Royer as a mono overhead. Lovin the Coles so much...
I can’t figure out how to attach a picture from iPhone.

That reminds me, I still need to foam my “free” PL20 I got.

I believe you have to link it from a hosting site.
Got me a spring drum, 16 6" patch cords for pedals, and a set-up kit because I have kinda high action on my JP90.
Oh, and some fret-polishing cloths.
sexy, eh?

I really need to just pull the trigger on a Coles. I've been wanting one for like a decade now. haha. Ridiculous that I don't yet own one given all the money I've squandered on way less cool things.

Just picked up a 50’s Magnatone 108 Varsity Deluxe amp. It’s a bit beat up and someone has chopped the cabinet down but it was a steal and way too cool and great sounding to pass up.
5 watts into an 8” Jensen Alnico. Sounds pretty huge coming back off of tape.
Now I’ve gotta get it checked out by my tech before Im accidentally electrocuted.
