I sold a Behringer VC340... was hoping to put the money towards a Micromoog, but that didn't happen, so instead I picked up the Soothe2 plugin and a Kaotica Eyeball.

When I lived in Berlin, my studio was in a small rectangular room. I'd scored a load of acoustic foam from a studio that was going out of business and I managed to turn my room into a very pleasant sounding acoustic dead zone. Vocals were usually the only "live" thing I tracked, but the space had a great feel to it for such. I'm now living back in California on my wife's family farm with her former office converted into my studio space. Unlike in Berlin, the walls of my room aren't made of concrete, two feet thick! I've done a decent job foaming up the room but the idiot bikers still live next door and make their way onto my recordings. The Eyeball, so far, seems to do its job of keeping much of the outside world outside. And Soothe is serving a similar "go away!" purpose on the unwanted frequencies front.

I felt morally queasy owning the Behringer keyboard, and am glad to be rid of it, but it did sound amazing, I have to say.

Little 2x6 "macro" keypad, I guess meant for gamers - $26 on Amazon, very Chinese in origin. Can program any key to be any key (and light up in color too). I set it up with all my most used keys for Reaper when recording, so I can control the "transport" from a few feet away and less hunting for key combinations on a real keyboard.

This isn't so much new as it is revived. I'm breaking out the Yamaha PM430 as the front end for my cassette 6 and 8 track machines. My writing partner and I will be starting work on a soundtrack gig shortly and the cassette multitrackers are a big part of our work flow.
I spent some time setting it all up today. The basic idea is to have a bunch of things wired up and ready to go so we can focus on writing instead of engineering. I've got two mics on the kit mixed to one track. The piano is wired up. I'll add a few mics for guitars/whatever and maybe a DI and that should cover most bases.

I've had the mixer for ages and ages but never really used it much. I did a bunch of work on it when I first got it. Cleaning, cleaning, cleaning and rewiring the monitor sends so they're both pre EQ, pre fader. That gives it 4 independent outs and makes its sort of perfect for this application. After all of that it found its way into the storage room where it languished for years. This whole thing might just be me trying to convince myself not to sell it. We'll see.
