Looks great!

I love the T-40 for recording, altho' likely wouldn't like it for performing due to its weight - haven't even jammed with it yet.

Ever see this?

SSL 2+ interface.
So far, I like everything about it. The preamps are very nice, the dual headphone outs are handy, it's laid out well and easy to use.
USB Class Compliant, no software needed to use it on a Mac.
Simple switch for Stereo/Mono, a knob to mix input with USB output, separate 48v switches for the two preamps. Separate line in/DI switches for each preamp, combo jacks, and I even found a use for the RCA jacks for output channels 3-4 - I found a VocoPro amplified speaker, a small one. It has RCA inputs. Nice combination for small club gigs if Covid ever lets me play those again - $8 at Value Village and it works fine. There is even a jack for another speaker if I ever need to use it.

Picked up a cuppla One Control AIAB's, the Sonic Blue, the Super Apricot and the Hooker's Green.

Recording with 'em on my current project thru a Omnicab Mini; I'll publish soon. Also have a cheap Chinese Dumbler, an Exotic and a Catalinbread Marshall-type I might use ...

I've decided that member vvv dominates the gear acquisition thread. His combo of GAS and an eye for bargains is unstoppable.

That's the sweetness there, Roscoe! Please start a thread with your thoughts after having some time to get her going.

A handful of k&m 210/9 stands. With the usd / euro exchange rate in my favor I ordered them from Germany for about 40% less than us prices. Though I have to deal with converters for the 3/8 mic threads. Figure I'll use loc-tite to keep them attached to the stands.

Will do.
I've only had one sort of commando session with it so far. Not much time to mess with it but it sounded really amazing on the drum bus.
We've had the Crane Song STC-8 on our mix bus since we got it years ago. It's an embarrassment of compression riches over here!

I have a tracking session, some overdubs and a mix coming where I'll be able to mess with it a little more in the next couple weeks.
It's a familiar sound without 'vintage problems'. Back in the 90's, before we had our own place, I used to rent a 670 from Dreamhire for mixing. They had 4 and there was only one we really liked. I'd have to check on it's availability before booking mix time at the studio we worked out of. UndertothneAudio has a pretty knowing team on the build/design of these things. There's a few videos out there that had me nodding along affirmatively from experience when describing the classic units and the things they introduced to their unit
