Yeah, got it for a good deal used. Waiting for it to arrive in the mail.
Meanwhile my Sub Decay Echobox just arrived
It's totally making playing guitar really fun right now. It's been a long time since I got new toys.

Sold my Shure SM7 when I took a recording hiatus a while ago. Miss it as I have yet to find a mic that sounds better on my, um, "unique" voice.
Just picked a cherry one up used for $85!
*happy dance*

October ended up being 80's Compressor Month? over here in Philly.
Valley People Dynamite - $400
dbx 160X (customized with rebuilt power supply, recapped, balanced XLR i/o, Burr-Brown op-amps) - $265 via ebay, and the store always has these up there for a nice price
dbx 163X - FREE
Plus, my bass player just brought over everything that he has had in storage from previous studio/broadcast installs that he trash-picked old gear from.
Pair of EV Sentry 100A monitors
Orban 622B Dual EQ
2 x LPB S-2 Compressor/Limiters (poor man's LA4A?) Note: One from 1976 the other from 1978. We're gonna have them worked on since they squeal a little. But they sound pretty amazing on snare and acoustic guitars!
Tons of other stuff, weirdo power amps, Tascam 308B mixer, etc. I have to go through it all and see what I want. IT'S RAINING GEAR!

Did I mention the Auratones?
Got 'em yesterday, did a little listening on 'em today (Built to Spill, There Is No Enemy) and A/B'd 'em with my usual monitors (Tannoy PBM 6.5II's, and some low-rent Duals).
I can see they uses - I'm psyched to work on 'em.
Awaiting receipt onna Bellari MP 104 (cheap tube pre) and a Focusrite Trackmaster (too cheap to resist).
