Just ordered a Mini-SE from Zerotronics. I am psyched, the one thing I desperately needed was a good spring verb again.

Roland R-05.


It sounds like two tiny crap SDC's sitting on nice converters. Fuck all noise. Small. Awesome stereo image.


So intensely handy and excellent as a portable music player and note taker and for recording live performances and conversations... I cannot describe... If I go swimming with it then a drop it and a truck runs over it I will be seeking a warranty claim on it considering the money I paid though... Lucky it's digital and I can and do back it up like a wonton maniac.

Aphex 651- If Bob Katz recommends it, I'm gonna listen! Supposedly very transparent. Jim Williams mods them for at a good price and takes it even further in that direction. Looking forward to try it out on some mastering work.

Awesome! I have a 3 pick-up version of that that I set-up as a baritone (tuned B-B). It just got used all over a Link Wray style instrumental guitar record I produced a few weeks ago.

P.S. The trem system is useless and ensures the guitar will never be in tune. I took the springs out of mine and tuning is rock solid now.

That's exactly how I want to set this one up. I nearly jumped with joy when I found this thing, I've been secretly after a baritone for years. I was playing it last night, and really enjoying it. The neck is ball-bat thick but the finish work on it is actually quite nice and it plays like butter. I can't wait to get this thing bellowing through a spring verb into my old 50's Gibson amp.

That would figure, as one of the few bits of information I found about this thing on the net suggested that the tremolo device was in fact, SO AWESOME. Thanks a lot, internets.

It's a Wurlitzer 200A. Actually it's on loan for 4 years while my friend is going to dental school in NYC. I'm really excited to have it.

The cat is recently acquired gear as well...got him from a shelter nearby. He loves to hang out while I record. :)
