Monster RCA-RCA stereo cables, designed for car audio. They're *shielded.* Price?
drumroll....
$1.99 for a 10' cable. I bought 16 channels. I think I'm going to go back and buy 16 more. For that price? Why the eff not?
They're shielded. And they're RCA to RCA.

Nice, you should love that monitoring setup. I've had 2 nad 2200's. great amps, wicked 'fast'. watch for the output relays, my first had problems there and i think thats pretty common.

Gas is $1.81 where I'm at, which is opening up my wallet a little bit.
I'm purging a lot of stuff in hopes of getting a Savage Blitz 50...I'm getting some NOS Brimar EL84s for my Orange so unless those really open that amp up I'm going to give the Savage a chance.
Still waiting for a Luna reunion

These:
That green stuff is not mold. Underneath all that atrocious, avocado-toned fuzz are 1963 Slingerland drums. 20 13 16. Blue sparkle. Clean bearing edges.

Split Pea Velour.
Cool looking... you know, in a hideously ugly kind of way.
I wonder if removing the fabric would open up the sound of the drums at all?

Yeah, if it wasn't a little stinky... and if those drums weren't Slingerland... I might just leave it on there. But it's coming off. I expect the tone will probably open up quite a bit. But those heads are trashed, so I won't really know what the drums sound like until I'm done messing with them.
I'm a little bit afraid that whoever put the fuzz on them in the first place might have scuff-sanded the exterior. If they did, I'm going to have to re-wrap, something I've never attempted before... unless I can find some way to de-sand the wrap. Maybe paste wax?
