That would be a neat trick as he was sitting next to me during the unknown comic's routine.drumsound wrote:MSE are you the unknown audio comic from the Con last year?

phaser before fuzz = glorpy Gilmour solo sound on Animals and The Wall
(i think he was alternating between a script Phase 100 and a Small Stone at the time)
also much Electric Mistress (non-Deluxe version) use around that same era, including The Final Cut

I'm sure Wile E. Coyote will sell you a slightly used, giant Acme slingshot, with which you can shoot a Marshall Halfstack into a canyon while soloing. Be sure to use a wireless unit, otherwise you risk a surprise as you hit that laaaaaaaaast note. But, then again, what better way to end a killer solo than with that "Pwyerrrrrrrrrr!" sound followed by the falling whistle sound?

Audio Engineer Euphemism for going number two: "Rollin' off the Low End."
Live at Pompey
Live at Pompey is one of my favorite things Floyd ever did. To see those guys in their 20's and playing like that makes me squirm with envy.
Has everyone seen that?
Also - if you've heard it Pink Floyd - "More" is super cool.
