Managing how plugins are displayed

Post by stevebozz » Sat May 19, 2007 12:14 pm

Is there a way to manage the listing of plugins in Logic 5? All my plugins get installed to the default VST directory, but my insert menus are a bit crazy and I'd like to control how they're displayed, even the names of them.

Is this possible? How do ya'll keep your plugins tidy?

Thanks!
Steve

With VSTs it's easy - just sort your VST files into folders sorted the way you want.

For example, when I'm looking for a compressor, I don't want to have to hunt through hundreds of files where the file name doesn't have much to do with what the plug does, so I put all my VST compressors in a folder called 'compressors'.
