Logic 7 Metronome problem - can't hear it!

Post by petreestow » Sun May 27, 2007 7:33 am

I'm having trouble hearing the metronome through the main speaker outputs for logic 7. my external hardware if a presonus firepod, and as far as logic goes, it seems likes everything is set up correctly (as far as having outs as 1+2 where my speakers are) If I click "metronome plays through built in speakers
in the metronome settings window, i can hear the metronome through the laptop speakers, but still not the main speaker outputs. i don't know what to do. your help would be greatly appreciated, thanks aLL!

Is the Klopfgeist outputting on 1-2? If not, you'll have to create an object in the environment, set it to instrument 127 and see what's going on.

Good luck!

and don't forget to look at your metronome settings in the song preferences pane.
file/song settings/metronome

I'm doing this from memory, so I could have the location wrong, but I think it's there.

Best,H
