I have a friend who insists on calling Alesis "A-Lay-Iss-Iss" and it really pisses me off. He also calls Sennheiser "Sign - HIzer" That's irritating as hell too.

NO-FRIEND-OH!
Zero Latency my tuckus!
are you talking about your hardware latency? there is no latency in the software as far as audio tracks are concerned. I mean, there is latency... but, it's compensated for by the software. I don't think that it's ever been claimed that you can track midi through VSTi instruments with "zero latency"...
hmmm... maybe they didn't have the latency compensation in 2004. I seem to remember that there was no latency compensation for groups and sends in those days.

well, how about this, then: if it's 'new-EN-dough', then what the hell is that supposed to mean? (not that 'innuendo' makes much more sense as a name for audio software....)

it probly sounds like something dirty to a German software marketer.

My poor wife once pronounced WiFi at work at a tech company once as "Wiffy". Turns out that's the way they say it in France...

That's all it is... trying to equate dumb made up word with word I already know... I sure as hell don't pronounce Sonar "Sue-naar" or "Sew-Neighr"... Cubase is easy, Pro Tools (duh), Radar, Logic... these all make sense!... but what the fuck is an "Neundo"?!?!?!
Is that where you get the DVD home and notice there's an alternate ending to the movie... a Neundo... I don't care anymore.

Its exercise equipment.
It's what you make Noo-en cookies out of.
It's a sci-fi movie from the 50's car model.
It's for sure a real dumb name.
I've spent way too much time thinking about it now...

Sorry, I am a huge Brian Regan fan and that bit's on his first CD. I mean how often do you get a hooked on phonics reference? I couldn't pass that up. . .

I've always pronounced it as a Spanish word, since it makes no sense in English. Probably makes no sense in Spanish either, but I don't speak it, so it doesn't bother me.
