Recording multiple tracks with Audacity
Can anyone show me how to do this? I'm getting stuck. I'm using a Tascam 1804 interface, Audacity recognises it but won't give me the option to assign channels to tracks.
Really lost - anyone?

Good to know, thanks dude.housepig wrote:as of the newest version of Audacity, it can't be done. if you set up 8 tracks and hit "record", you'll get 8 identical tracks, each with a mixture of all 8 input signals.
I emailed the developers, at the time they weren't in a hurry to change this.
