Hi everyone!
I bought an autolocator (CB-116) for my beloved Otari MX-5050 Mkiii last week... But now, I have to find a cable for it.
So anyone got one ZA-641 16 pin cable for sale?
Or does anybody know where I can get one or how to make my own homemade cable?
Thanks a lot!
Guillaume

I dunno if Otari themselves can help, but it's worth a call/email. I recall the connector was sort of an odd-ball Japanese part, but Otari MIGHT still have some old stock sitting in California.

Ok thanks!
Can you give me their e-mail adress? I can't find it on the web.
Is there any other shops that you think might have this cable?
Thanks again!

Ok, got the adress of Otari, California.
But I read somewhere on this forum that a place called "Valley Sound" in Burbank, California might have this kind of cable.
Does anyone have their e-mail adress please? I live in Canada.
Thanks!

Ok, I did contact Otari. Still waiting for their reply.
No one got one for sale?
Does anyone have pin out schematic so that I could try to make my own cable?
Thanks!

Just wondering 13 years later if anyone ever found a way to solve this problem. I would love to get or make a cable to get my Otari autolocator working with my MX5050.
