I made one of those for fun a while back. It was fine for voice over. Worked ok, for vocals. But there is not an easy way to mount it for practical use. I prefer the sm7 for voice-over and vocals in unflattering rooms.

I've tried both of them out. The SE reflexion filter does a better job than that little box. Same concept different results, 350 dollar price difference.
