Okay, who here has a Cracklebox?

I recently picked one up and I'm not at all sure that it's working correctly. I realize that it's hard to tell what "correctly" means in this case, and that it depends on a variety of factors, but it's very difficult to get any sounds out of it -- there are only a couple of specific combinations that produce any noise at all.

I am hoping to compare notes with someone else in possession of one of these little guys.
