How about GearWire Talk? HSG would appreciate your vote.

Post by bobg (homestudioguy) » Thu Oct 25, 2007 5:46 pm

With hat in hand, I, Bob G. aka homestudioguy, am asking for your help.

I am one of 25 semi-finalists in the GearWire ?Most Valuable (forum) Poster? and the voting has just begun. The winner gets a ?Studio-In A Box? that includes an amp, some guitars, and recording related software, all of which have yet to be formally announced.

As a home studio kind of guy, I would definitely appreciate your vote if you would be so kind.
This a link to the voting ballot page: MVP Contest - Cast Your Vote! | Gearwire
FYI-The Ballot page is sort of odd looking at his point so you must scroll down to see the names (I am listed as homestudioguy).

All that the folks at GearWire request (and me too! ;) ) is a vote and your e-mail address.
You can read about each candidate via the ballot page if you?d like, but why?

In any event, as a TapeOp Forum Poster and the fact that I am representing Gearslutz, I?d really appreciate your support and your vote.
Sincerely,
Bob G.
HSG

FYI-each candidate had to answer a series of music and life related questions and provide 5 Forum posts they were proud of. My 5 posts were the $80 workstation DIY Project , the $10 Acoustic Panel Support System DIY Project, helping a newbie with a low-cost mic choice, helping someone with a trombone recording issue, and the last one is about my opening up my homestudioguy website to spotlight home studio owners and their home studios (currently underway with 2 home studios to date).
