Thank God Kafka and Hemingway were more interested in the words they were writing instead of how fast they could fucking type them. FFS.

a lovely sentiment. Then again, Kafka and Hemingway weren't writing e-cards, were they? Ever worked in a low/medium budget studio?

Exactamundo. Or even a high-budget place that does corporate work, i.e. advertising. If you're laying down Kafka-level Art with a capital ART, bully for yez and take all the time you want. Me, I've got 200 voice edits for an interactive website to crank out before noon or I don't get a pee break or a chance to eat my sandwich with my mouse hand, 'cause after lunch it's awards show videos all afternoon. It's eggs and oranges, man.

Besides, we're talking about the speed of editing, not the speed of recording, which would be more analogous to writing...

Don't forget the part where you have to die before you're done, then have your estate surreptitiously publish the work in progress against your wishes!

I really hate when that happens.

short cut to switch the current track's playlist. He's trying to do it with the scroll wheel now. Why this hasn't been a part of PT for 8 years is beyond me.
