Acoustic guitar home recording studio

Post by JHStudios » Fri Oct 26, 2007 9:38 pm

Here is my acoustic guitar / vocals recording studio in my bedroom. The acoustic guitar is acoustic / electric and sometimes is run through the effects pedal. Mic is a Sennheiser e825S for vocals, direct-in for guitar, straight to cassette tape. Everything is situated on an old wood table top.

Working on an album right now, called "Stripped down - Essentials", an acoustic only / acoustic / vocals album. I'll have a site up soon.

It's a recording space as far as I can tell. Maybe not Abbey Road, but whatever...still a space.

Looks like a piece of modern art. I would think it's great if I saw that in a gallery.

Dude, I totally have that same exact CD player. it's the Sony D-5 from 1985. My dad got one way back when CDs first came out and he gave it to me maybe five years ago. Still works like a champ after 22 years!

I don't love everything Sony, but every once in a while they make some amazingly solid.

sameo on the Sony CD player. great tool, still use it for breaks at mobile events. 8) unfortunately my mitsubishi tv seems to have the same longevity problem so that new plasma tv is still a longs ways away... :D
