also, be on the lookout for a Lexicon Reflex. Decent verb for low dough.

Thanks. You would need two mics to do this, correct? Or are you saying let the vocal mic pick up the guitar amp? I've never used effect returns so I'm a little lost. I have a '65 fender champ which would probably sound pretty cool.
Thank you, Mario, but our princess is in another castle.

if you have a mixing board or if your recorder has some juice in the amp you could use an effects send to a spring reverb unit. I have one out of a busted mixer but they are cheap to buy. I run the single out of a aux send then bring it back into a channel. Its a little noisey but it works.

I've been in love with the Wedge since it first hit the streets at $500. I didn't buy one till it hit $100. If they're going for less than $50, I should buy a couple more...

Any of that old home hi-fi reverb/delay stuff is cool. My Pioneer SR 202 Spring Reverb cost me and a buddy $10. It's the only piece of gear I co-own. It has a nice sound sometimes. I have a Technics "Space Dimension Controller" that I picked up at a flea market for $7. It's a really dirty slap-back delay with Hi-Z mic input. Kicks ass.

I'm probably the only person in the world that would recommend it, but I love my alesis picoverb... not much controls, but who needs control? Also it has a cool phase shifter.
