Schematics for days

Post by @?,*???&? » Mon Dec 10, 2007 10:37 am

Came across this super-jiffy site:

http://www.freeinfosociety.com/electron ... .php?cat=1

as I was looking for rectifier tube info for a Gibson Duo-Medalist amp.

Been there several times, they havent added much lately and they never seem to have what i want.

I love the concept
'Well, I've been to one world fair, a picnic, and a rodeo, and that's the stupidest thing I ever heard come over a set of earphones'

Good find. Just copied the EH Electric Mistress schemo. Been looking for years.

That site is wonderful, but is there anyone on this green Earth who has the diagram for the MXR 136?

for stompbox schemos, get started at the forum at http://diystompboxes.com

you have to hang out for a while and get the gist of how things work there, socially. but once you meet some people and become known they can help you find what you need

lots of those guys both have vast collections of schematics AND trace circuits for the sake of curiousity

I tried MusicParts once to match 2 schematics for slightly different units. No response via e-mail. By phone, I got a "dude" space cadet, who said he'd check and get back to me. Of course he didn't, and every time I re-called about it, I got the same idiot. He couldn't remember the last conversations and had no record of them. So much for MusicParts. Maybe you'll have better luck, but their prices are pretty steep.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm going to keep looking before I try Music Parts.
Peace

I can tell you that I've had the same experience with this guy. Not sure if he thinks he's exempt from customer service as he IS charging people for schematics. While I'm not against charging for them, he should at least be more responsive.

I've found that the only part of his system that works good, is ONLY when he has the "green" button schematics (in stock and ready to download within a few hours) AND you're absolutely sure what you're looking for--otherwise it's not easy getting a hold of him, nor is it, trying to get something resolved.

Good luck~

True... this site, while good for what it has, doesn't update too often... and usually those schematics are just a collection of what's already floating around out there anyhow.

Too bad FreeInfoSoc web site doesn't have something like--oh say... the Maxon analog delay!?
