My strat totally rocks but the only original Fender part left on it is the body and bridge. Hello? :suspect:

mine is similar, except the only original parts left are the body and the heel plate. :lol:

i usually don't like the cosmetic look of a strat, but that's the prettiest one i've ever seen

I definitely agree with that. It sounds great and is fun to play. I just love the switches. It's really easy to jump between sounds.

Nope, it's a 1983 Fury. I think that was the first or second year they put out Fury basses, so it still has the T series knobs and headstock. I might be prejudiced since it's been my bass for 25 years, but it sounds and plays better than any other bass I've tried. It has crazy sustain and a nice complex growl. It must be that Mississippi swamp ash.

except FedEx broke the hardshell case in-transit, and now we have to deal with making a claim to get it replaced.

Kevin is a very cool guy that's up for making any kind of aluminum necked / bodied guitar you're interested in.
