I have a macbook pro and all i can find for this are extra firewire/usb ports. i would like to hear that there is some plugin accelerator or something cool i could plug in there. ket me know what you have or would like to have for your expresscard/34 slot

1) Apogee Symphony Mobile card. It's pretty expensive but a pretty cool use of the express card slot.

2) eSATA port cards. You're basically adding SATA speed drives to your laptop. This is what video editors are using to do HD editing on laptops. Would be good for recording use if you wanted to keep your firewire bus full with only one device yet also want to use external storage.
