Bypassing Phonic Helix pres?

Post by MakeWar » Tue Jan 15, 2008 9:55 am

Hi, I wanted to know if there's a way to bypass my phonic helixboard's pres since I use outboard preamps. Maybe connecting my preamp to the -not phantom powered- inputs?

Thank in advance.

Does it have Line inputs? If so, check out the signal diagram, see if it is truly after the preamp stage. On some boards the line input is just an attinuated input.
