delay plugin - beta for vst/os x

Post by soundhack » Tue Jan 15, 2008 4:08 pm

i just put together a delay plugin as a programming example for my coding for music class. it is freeware and presently only for mac/vst. i'd love to hear what people think of it, or if you'd like anything else added to it

http://music.ucsd.edu/~tre/soft/delay.vst.zip

right now it has multi waveform modulation, feedback with saturation, a nice butterworth filter in the feedback path and 2 head mode for 70s style pitchshifting (when you use ramp modulation).

i'll add presets and window/rtas/au for the release

freeware

Will gladly test when it's in AU! Love Soundhack btw. Keep up the good work, Tom!

new version - i've wrapped up what i think is the last version of my stereo rotary delay plugin. currently VST for mac (i will do windows and RTAS, AU the next few weeks).

http://music.ucsd.edu/~tre/soft/delay.vst.zip

i've fixed the previous bugs that would cause occasional crashing (esp. in Max) and would sometimes cause silence in the right channel.

i have also added a number of presets:

ADT -Chorus - Flange - Slapback- Pitch Shift Up/Down
Random Sample & Hold - Comb Filtering - Filtered Feedback

I just realized I bought an old copy of the FXPansion VST-AU thing a while back. I'll gladly test this out when I get down to the space tomorrow.

Tom couldn't get it to work under my old copy of FXPansion's VST-AU converter, so I guess I'll have to wait until the AU comes around. Looking forward to it.

that's too bad... probably the change in vsts to universal binary broke it...
