yeah the solo. I guess its not a lunchbox in the API style. But I cant think of anything else to call that form factor.
I dont know the exact model name, but I saw the single channel rackmount 610 on evilbay, then went to the UA website and noticed that the only single channel 610 they are selling is the non rackmount version. Weird, their product line looks rather more pared down. But I cant really say what else is missing.

ps strange now the listing isnt there anymore.

I myself bought an m610 (rack mount) about 2 years ago on EBay for about $700.00 and it's got that vocal character. Not to mention a great DI for bass. The only thing I could see changing with the 'Non-rack", "lunchbox', 'Solo'...yep weird, what the hell do you call one of those? Anyway the rack mount version is cavernous on the inside. The power supply is a mile away from the rest of the components, and as a result it's a very quite 'Tube' pre. After reading the specs on the M2-610 it has considerably better signal to noise ratio.

Anyway, it's a good buy.

Funny, I just got a Cal Trans warrning for driving in the carpool lane with out a passenger. I guess someone reported me using it as a passing lane.

I wrote back and said "You should have checked the trunk."
