Has anyone seen this new 'Songwriter' magazine? First one I got of that had an actual sampler from alot of unsigned talent attempting to go legit? Or the new-ish mag 'Paste'? Is Paste meant to be an alternative to Spin or RS or Blender?

I did not receive the last issue of TapeOp.

Anyone think I should order a back issue?

Apparently, my TapeOp subscription was up for re-newal or something. I answered the e-mail prompt in timely fashion and still didn't get that one.

I had a problem with renewal last time too.

I missed issue #61 or #62

Then I filled out the renewal form again.

Now I get 3 issues every month! But all I realy want is just one copy of the issue I missed!

Hey, if you get extras, would you mind sending me one? I lost my subscription when I moved in November, and apparently I had a gear review get published this time around.

It's funny you mention this as I've recently been going through my recently unearthed stack of Option magazines. It's really bending my head reading through all these articles and reviews and seeing soooo many bands that are being pulled out from the deep recesses of my sub-conciousness - from my days of deep music geek-dom. It's made for some great kitchen table reading...and not just a nostalgia trip. Although a good bit of it is rather dated (like the section for home studio construction tips), there are some excellent interviews...and it's really cool reading about all these great bands I had nearly forgotten.

The publishers should license those reviews to All Music Guide. I am sure AMG is deficient on at least half of them!

Experimental Musical Instruments was a great magazine, while it lasted.

I'm just now reading the 'London Calling' article. Bill Price was a monster engineer. Fat and fudgy bass tones.
