Places to buy stompbox kits online??
I never build anything and I want to start with something easy with explicit instructions and parts, I ran across this site: http://fuzzboxworld.com where they sell a diy beginner fuzz for 35$,
do you know of other companies who have similar or better kits?

I think a lot of us cut our teeth on Craig Andertons book
"Electronics Projects for Musicians"
I had a real hard time locating parts for some of the stuff in there when I went thru it. But that was before the internet was in color and there were less than 4000 websites globally. No really.
But its a good introduction to how most fuzz circuits are done, and how a tone circuit or compressor works. That said they arent the best designs. But its also not a brain pummeling dry book either.
