This mic is sold as a PA tuning accessory - anybody run into one of these? I wouldn't be tuning any PAs with it, but if it is really "flat" and "super-accurate" it seems like a good poor man's omni - ??? Or is it just an overpriced anal probe?
Please advise. Thank you in advance.
dbx budget omni mic - worthwhile?

i keep ALMOST buying those when they come up on ebay. i think of them as the poor man's Earthworks... i've heard some not-crappy reviews of the Behringer one, but i forget where. biggest issue seems to be self-noise, as i recall.

You won't be sorry that you checked it out, very very good mics for very very little money. I use 1 in the middle of a drumkit plus a kick mic and it is a great sound.
