So, I'm having overload and dropout problems with logic 8. All it takes is one instance of a plug-in and then the problems begin, at any buffer setting. This all started after I did an apple software update without really looking at what I was updating! I had no problems before that. I've noticed that others are having a similar experience. Is there a fix? Is it me or is it Apple?
I'm running it on a macbook pro with two gigs o' ram with a uln-2.
Any help is appreciated.
Cheers.
Tim

Try installing the 10.5.2 combo update from Apple's site. If you've already installed 10.5.2 that's ok, just install the combo update over it.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, I'm still running 10.4.11. I guess it's time for 10.5

Thanks again palinilap. Unfortunately, even after the downlowd, I'm still having the same problem.

I think I figured it out. Like I said the problems began after that update prompt from apple. There was an update for airport that doesn't want to play nice with logic. When I turn the airport off logic runs fine. This is stupid.
