Oh man, I'm really liking that sound.
Are those just the Fat Heads with the stock trannys?

fat head mic for vocals?
I understand that these work best at some distance, but can they work for vocals without excessive bleed from acoustic guitar?
For example here:

I am keeping my guitar and vocals separate and have great control with the mixer.
Will I lose this by going to a fat head ribbon?
How does the fat head compare to a LDC for room micing?

"Play Me" on that page uses a Fathead on guitar and vox.ampguy wrote:I understand that these work best at some distance, but can they work for vocals without excessive bleed from acoustic guitar?

I've mic'd acoustic and vox with a pair of Fatheads and it's worked great. the nulls are pretty wide, just play around a bit with placement.
