If something sounds shitty in the studio and good when you do it live, record it the way you do it live. Just sayin.

I'm new to Melbourne and my kids love toys, but I can't find them here like in new york where my family is from. does anyone know where to buy? help please my kids are driving me crazy looking for them?? :)

Regarding PA's in the room (studio), it was a drum thing for awhile there (Check the whole chapter on it in the "Mixerman Diaries").
