It is indeed a Focusrite Liquid Saffire 56. I just completed my first project tracking with it and I was pretty happy with the result. The mic preamps (even aside from the Liquid Pres) and converters sounded much better than the Akai DPS 24 mkII I used to record with. I want to get the Focusrite Octopre though, or something similar, to expand the number of inputs I have for live tracking a full band.

Well I use to love it, but after my old one died, and then one I installed at where I do Video Editing died. They were both 5 years old, but the new ones sounded different so I would have to recommend something else.Recycled_Brains wrote:How do you like the Central Station?

Thanks man. Good to know. I need to get something like this, but I had heard that they were unreliable, and you're confirming that. Too bad, cause the price is good.
