That guy makes some pretty great stuff for the price. I'm curious how close to something like an AT4047 that mic is....sort of sounds like the same type of deal.

I'm actually still thinking about getting one of those HM-2D things.

I actually have always been interested in checking out Kel Audios stuff. From the clips on the site they sound great.

The HM-1s that I had from them were pretty nice. I'm actually considering buying them again at some point. The ones I got weren't harsh sounding at all, and worked great for overheads. Might even be great for toms, as I remember they had a ridiculous amount of low end.

I reviewed the HM-1s for tapeop.com a while back. Really liked them (still do too). am hoping to get the 7's for review soon. will keep y'all posted if I do.
