improving frequency identification
about a year ago i saw someone post a website to aid in training your ears to hear certain frequencies or multiple frequencies. i loved the site but i can't find it anymore and i've been itching to start polishing up on my frequency hearing. anyone have anything that'll help me with that?
was it Golden Ears?

You want Simple Feedback Trainer.billiamwalker wrote:well i'm not trying to analyze the frequency range. it's really just a test type deal that plays different frequencies and you have to try to hear which one it is and choose the right frequency that you're hearing.

Thanks for mentioning that app, digital eagle audio, digital eagle audio wrote:is it earwise?
I don't think anybody in this thread ever used earwise, but I bet it would fit the OP's bill really well.
It's a suite of programs to learn recognize frequencies for musical and feeback-reducing purposes, it runs on mac only, it's mine and it's free, check it out:

If somebody is using windows and is really wanting to use earwise, she/he can drop me a line and I can send them the original max/msp file the app was built from..
C'mon, you can't possibly believe what's written on my avatar..
