KORG nanokontroller

Post by antilog » Tue Dec 16, 2008 4:16 pm

I bought a KORG nanokontroller today to use with my laptop. I wasn't expecting much, but after getting the controls mapped in Cubase and using it a bit, it seems to be good bang for buck. For having transport and masic mixer controls for $100, it ain't bad....

Let me know if anyone wants my cubase device xml so you don't have to start from scratch...

I thought they were $60?
I might pick one up as well. So I can go to the local peets coffee and work on mixes with a nice hot mocha in one hand.
Not really, so I can reclaim some desk space from my Digi R1.
I am interested to see how well it works with Sonar.

My bad, that was supposed to read "or under $100"...
It's handy, light, compact, and the width of my laptop.

I guess the design target was for it to be as wide as a macbook.

I am hoping they come out with a "plus" version with motorized faders and such. If they can do that for $60, what can they do for $120?

hey I could use the xml for Cubase I'll pm you my email. I spent about an hour working out one for protools if anyone needs it. FIY it does work in protools but you have to use the CS-10 legacy support so the 9 dial encoders are pretty useless...
