Skreddy Pedals

Post by 47ronin » Mon Jan 05, 2009 4:03 pm

I am particularly interested in the Skreddy Echo, the sound clips and videos sound great. Has anyone ever ordered one of these? Apparently you have to pre-order, which makes me a little nervous.

Yikes!!!

I kinda wish I hadn't seen this thread. I was so impressed by the clips that I saw/heard that I went ahead and ordered one. Hopefully it won't really take three months.

Considering that I already have a Roland 555 tape echo, a Binson Echorec 2, various EH Memory Mans, and a Moog Analog Delay I'm not sure why I felt it needed it but it was a moment of weakness...
Check out my website for cool songs recorded and played by me with Steve Goulding of the Mekons on drums. Drums were recorded by our own Joel H at Studio G.

i can personally vouch for the skreddy echo... my good friend howard and i do clips for marc a lot, and we were on a tourbox for the echo. if you go to the skreddy website, i think our demo of the echo is the first one (i did drums and keys for it) all the tracks on there have the echo in some facet, handling the ambience duties. one guitar track even just uses the modulation :)

in all of the delays we were playing with that day, it was the only one that played well equally with lots of different instruments and situations. marc builds insanely well-voiced stuff, and this one is no exception.
