BWAHAHAHA. this is ridiculous but i am going to strait up do an AB comparison of an "unmastered" mp3 with an mp3 "mastered" with vloud. ...i know you all are stoked. i'll post my results when i get back from lunch.

alright here it is! the results are in! this actually turned into and ABC comparison because Vloud is bullshit, i could still see some dynamic range in the first file i got back from them and we all know that's just a bunch of malarkey.

so here's the original file which was converted to a 320kbps mp3 from the original wav. that was created from mixing down the song in my daw.

after a listen, i decided that yes! it is a bit louder, however it didn't "just make everything sound better", so i needed to run it through again! and again! finally it sounds freaking fantastic! (and looks better too!) have a listen:

glorious isn't it? you mastering dudes can definitely fear for your asses now.

Edit: oh and i'll be damned if that silence at the end isn't the best you've ever heard
