Well I am not thinking I can turn one of these into a Neuman mic or anything. But I would like to first get inside one of the 3 I have and get them to work again.Hoping its just a lose solder case.If its something else what would that be? and is it fixable?
I wanna use them as a stereo pair over drums just as an experiment.I was wondering if there is anything that could be done to them to make them more responsive ?

Maybe a dremal tool with a cutoff wheel? Honestily, you might be better off getting it apart, then putting it back together in something else, maybe a pvc pipe?Ok that would be a good idea If I could get inside these things
Anyone can recomend a way to split a plastic case so it can be glued back together?

there has to be some tool out there along the lines of an electric knife. like a really sharp one that is plugged in and has a knob to control how hot it gets.
maybe i am fantasizing here, but if it's just the right temp, you would be able to cut the thing open pretty smoothly and epoxy it back together once you're done fixin'.
