Indeed, Mixedupsteve is right.

I just fired up Tracktion 2 track (also not UB) and Blockfish was pumping away.

OK, so what gives?
Maybe I can ReWire Tracktion to Live and run it that way (but I probably wont)


I've been playing with the comps mentioned here, and they're pretty good (I think I'll throw down the $49 for Rocket, and Rough Rider is a little better than some other freebies). I've also tried some in Reaktor, which are woriking a little better for me. Also, someone's written a preset for the compressor in Live called "Blockfish", but it really doesn't come close.

Any other de-essers?
