Sorry, I meant to be more help. I use to work with a newer Sony board (can?t remember the name) later model than that one, and the pre's were great, also the EQs were very expectable.

I have one of these sitting in the back room of my house with no power supply. A local broadcast station tossed it out and I picked it up thinking it would be useful. With no power supply it has not been.

Someone buy it from me. There's a power supply on ebay right now for $200.

Saw that on Boston CL as well. I don't think the guy is going to get the 5k he's asking.

Ha, yes indeed. If the guy has a remaining half can of matching varnish to finish off that cupboard door, maybe it's a deal.

i love jackass craigslist/ebay postings. Simply no effort whatsoever put into the ad. But he's asking a very small fortune. Really, $5k will buy a lot of gear these days. Not just new gear (like a 24 channel ATB?) but used gear has been getting cheap around these parts.
I also like that he hasnt bothered to mention if it comes with a PS, if he takes money orders or checks, if he can deliver or ship.
Custom desk means he knocked one together out of shipping pallets and a home depot line of credit.
I offer $800 shipped.

I rebuilt/modified 5 of these for BET cable television back in the 1990's.
Look elsewhere...
