Cheap boom boxes with line-in?
I'm thinking about getting a cheap boom box to place either behind me or to my left whenever I want to do some lo-fi monitoring. Any recommendations? I'd prefer to have something relatively small...
Thanks!

I have a little Aiwa XR-M131 that's cool for this. The speakers aren't attached to it, which is kind of a pain, but it's not very big or clunky. It's got a cassette deck, a CD player, and a tuner, so it's pretty useful to have around the studio. The extra inputs are RCAs. There are three EQ presets "pop," "rock," and "jazz," but you can set it flat, as well. Kind of good for making quick comparisons. I think it was about $100 new and I think I got it maybe six or seven years ago.
