Anyone really good at removing pops and clicks?
Anyone really good at removing pops and clicks?
Good Afternoon All,
I recently recorded a two set session of my avant-jazz group and while the first set's recording came out fine...the second set is flawed with pops and clicks on all 6 audio tracks. I won't even go into the embarrassing pilot error that allowed that to happen...
I use Logic 8 and have been able to reduce them quite a bit by running it thru the Pops and Clicks removal function in Soundtrack Pro --- but there are still some left in there and I've run out of patience zooming in and trying to redraw.
Is the anyone out there in TapeOp land with better audio cleanup software / more patience / better redraw skills that might be interested in tackling this project? If so...please let me know as I'd love to discuss rates, etc.
I have a sample track from the first set here..

it is called "KF4 Live at 119 Gallery"
Thanks in advance!

I give big props on izotope rx. i've pulled out an errant click track across an entire quietly recorded string arrangement that was overdubbed 8 times across 9 mics. It got rid of everything flawlessly.
