NS-10s with Yamaha PC2002

Post by googacky » Tue Apr 28, 2009 1:42 pm

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this monitor and amp combination. I have a chance to pick up a PC2002 pretty cheap and I've been looking for something to replace the Alesis RA-100 I've been using with my NS-10Ms. I understand the PC2002 has a pretty good reputation.

Joe Chiccarelli told me to get this amp to use with my NS10's, which he said he preferred over the Bryston we were working on at the time because he felt it was warmer.
I had a couple of different Hafler's with my ns10's before this and the pc2002 blows them all away. Meatier, punchier, tighter, warmer, more accurate. I got mine for like 200 bucks... I highly recommend it

If it's good enough for Joe Chiccarelli...

I think I'll pick it up.
