The LAX Hilton will host the 2009 Headfi International Meet on the last weekend of May this year. If you're interested in replacing those old headphones or are just curious on just how good a pair of cans can sound, you might find this an interesting way to spend a few hours.

One word of advice, Saturday will be much noisier than Sunday (isn't that how it always is at shows?), so if you want to make critcal listening decisions, come on Sunday.

This event is a week and a half away so I thought I'd bump it with a little added info.
If you're into reel to reel you've probably heard of the Tape Project. If not there's a link provided below.
I'll be using Tape Project tapes in my headphone rig. There will also be another spot where you can check out the sound on these tape. Todd the Vinyl Junkie will have a room with an upgraded ReVox Pr99. My rig is a modified Technics RS1500 with the outboard Tube Repro Amp from Bottlehead. I'll be in the Summit Headphone room.
