is this comparable to 703?

I read somewhere that this is comparable to 703. Anyone know if this is true? It apparently costs HALF as much as 703.

Looks to be pretty close.... you'll want 4" thick panels for bass traps.

Looks promising, I tried to hunt some prices down from distributors and haven't had any luck yet. I deal with wholesale construction supplies in my day job, but it's been difficult to find anyone who carries it within a few hours drive of my area. I found one that is a dealer, but doesn't stock the product and asked for a quote on bulk prices, but I haven't seen it in my fax machine yet. That might just be a reflection on that particular salesman though.

Can you find mineral wool in your area? It should be about the same price as this stuff you listed.
