ANY Fully Normalized Patchbays Out There??
ANY Fully Normalized Patchbays Out There??
Are there any patchbays out there that are FULL NORMALIZED - that are of high quality, and hold the cables securely in place????
I sold my DBX PB48's because they did not have offer FULL normalization. I need my patchbays to connect vertical pairs from the rear and have that connection broken on when inserting a cable on either the top or bottom.
Currently I have 4 Behringer "Pro" patchbays. I love the options they have with the switches on top of each pair.
What I DON'T LIKE ABOUT THESE - is that the jacks do NOT do a good job at holding the cables in place. Often, the weight of (many) cables makes them pull out.
I need other choices!!

At $100 a rack, this is a solid choice. I have 4 of them. Used them for almost 10 years with no problems.

I would agree with Viking, you can totally control the patchbay by wiring them up yourself.
However, the Neutriks can be had here:

New and pretty inexpensive.
