Man, you guys are awesome. This is why I love Tape Op.

While I probably won't have time to make new ones soon, I do have a bunch that are waiting to go out, so the people in the post above who've been slow to pay will be moved to the back of the line, and we'll move forward from here. I've got a dozen mics-- one of those is jgimbel's, so keeping three for just in case, let's move on to the next eight on the list:

Jonny (paid/shipped 12/8)
raycan paid/shipped 12/17
Nick Frater (paid/shipped 12/8)
bulph (paid)
glacial23 (paid/shipped 12/8)
Mr.Nick (paid/shipped 12/8)
Overt Clam
FBH (paid/shipped 12/8)

jgimbel shipped 12/8

If you're on the earlier list, don't send me money. I'll let you know when your turn comes up again.

I'm temporarily holding off on new orders, until
1. I'm caught up on current orders (all orders put in before the first time I said I'm going to temporarily hold off on new orders)
2. I have some time to do some R&D, after which I'll come back with new options. I've already snuck in some R&D in spare, stolen moments, and the results are very promising.

With improvements will be new prices, which will also be in accordance with the supply and demand thing, but I'm determined to keep things on the low budget end of the spectrum.

So, stay tuned...

I got my mic yesterday. I just got to do a quick drum test, I haven't used it extensively yet, but it sounded cool. Definitely low output obviously - I had to crank the external pre I was using and put the gain on the Firestudio Project that it was going into halfway up. Really interesting sound. For me there was a buzz that makes it almost unusable, but that's most likely just from my space, I'd guess. It's not loud enough that it sounds like something is wrong with the grounding of the mic. When I turn the mic a little bit I can get it to go away, not unlike the guitar pickups in my guitars that buzz. Just means I'll have to position the sources creatively if I use it for tracking. Regardless, it's a fun thing to have!

Ok, from this group, I'm still waiting on raycan (paid), bulph, and Overt Clam.

I'm finishing up some more that were started earlier, so I'm going to continue down the list and add some more people who can pay now:

tmcw (paid/shipped 12/17)
hallogallo (paid/shipped 12/17)
ctmsound
jeb98
damionj (paid/shipped 12/17)
Peter Auslan
markmazoo (paid/shipped 12/17)
baxterilion (paid/shipped 12/17)

That just leaves four more people left on the list before I stopped taking new orders (sfsonarboy, Arran Fisher, norsehorse and chovied). Once those are done, I'll take a break to do some R&D, and come back with improvements and more options.
