Tangent Console - any info?

Post by johnny7 » Fri Nov 06, 2009 12:47 pm

Has anyone here used or know anything about Tangent Consoles?
A search on Google revealed almost nothing. I believe they were a cheaper "pro" board from the 80s. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

There's a really nice Tangent 3216 that has been reecapped, re-chipped with faster/more transparent chips, star ground system added and a Jensen 990 opamp summing buss for sale in Seattle. If it was 2000 miles away I'd probably be interested in it. I think the Posies and some other bands recorded on it.
Still waiting for a Luna reunion
