990 op amp in line input circuit

Post by gwrr » Fri Dec 04, 2009 7:12 am

I've used the 990 discrete op amp with good success in the summing amp of a chip-based console before (as have many others). Have any of you come up with a circuit using the 990 to replace a 5532 (or 5534) at the line input of an i/o module? Real estate is obviously an issue but would be curious if any one has done this, how they did it, and how they liked it. Thanks!--mt

These things are hard to beat for balanced line inputs: http://www.thatcorp.com/1200-series_Hig ... r_ICs.html

Much better CMRR than a simple one op-amp diff amp.
