TOMB doesn't have an "off topic" topic any more. That's not a control room room. It looks like flutter echo hell, there's no monitors or sound treatment. I doubt the audio capabilities are very impressive at all. In fact, I'm surprised at how lame that thing looked considering that it's supposed to be a modern plane design.

Hopefully, the guys just check for imaging with them. Probably cuts down on the engine noise too.Snarl 12/8 wrote:Not many pro engineers mix on cans. Maybe it's you that is new?@?,*???&? wrote:What are you new?Snarl 12/8 wrote:I doubt the audio capabilities are very impressive at all.
There are several sets of headphones hanging off the backwall!
Didn't you see them?

My practical question is why does the pilot have to be 'left-handed'?locosoundman wrote:At least it has cup holders...
Also, that joystick has a pretty 'fire' button on it. I did not know the Airbus A380 had any ordinance onboard.
Did you see the camera view from the tail of the aircraft forward along the fuselage? That monitor is mounted on the center console.

It doesn't. That would be the autopilot disengage/sidestick priority button. Also, that joystick has a pretty 'fire' button on it. I did not know the Airbus A380 had any ordinance onboard.
